Webinar Recording: Discover the CSR Risk Check

In our webinar on 12 November 2025, we explored the latest updates of the CSR Risk Check. The session explained how the tool has been expanded, how it incorporates perspectives from the Global South, and how it can support companies preparing for upcoming European supply chain legislation. If you missed it, you can watch the recording below!

About the webinar

As EU supply chain regulations (e.g. CSDDD, CSRD, EUDR, etc.) continue to expand, the importance of the CSR Risk Check grows. To comply with new requirements, European companies increasingly request detailed information from their suppliers. This creates a ripple effect throughout global value chains, particularly for suppliers in the Global South.

The webinar discussed how, to align with these developments, the tool has been expanded with Spanish and French versions and updated research on the risks associated with transition minerals. These additions help make the CSR Risk Check more accessible for users worldwide and broaden its outlook beyond a Western-centric lens. The tool helps organisations anticipate these expectations and approach risk identification in a structured and informed way.

A key part of the session was the contribution of FARN, an Argentinean NGO with extensive expertise on the social and environmental impacts of lithium mining. Their knowledge has been incorporated into the CSR Risk Check, enriching the tool with local insights and strengthening its relevance for companies working with transition minerals.
